As an entrepreneur and I/T consultant, it is important to be knowledgeable in a variety of business and technical topics.  You need to be able to create, build and maintain client relationships; keep accurate records of your customers, contracts, project timelines/deliverables, and financial information; determine your key business differentiators and act on your marketing strategies; continuously educate yourself in emerging technologies and methodologies; and maintain strong perspective on balancing your work and family life.  As a member of the ICCA Chicago Chapter, you have a very valuable resource of highly knowledgeable individuals with whom you can share your perspectives, learn best business practices, and build strong collaborative relationships.

Building Your Business:  A Series of Roundtable Discussions offers a variety of conversations addressing a number of the above important topics.  Each attendee will have an opportunity to participate in two roundtable discussions, choosing from the following topics:

• Hot Skills / Promising Technologies
• Secrets to Gaining Top Search Engine Placements
• The Chicagoland I/T Market Outlook Crystal Ball
• What's On Your Wish List For The ICCA Chicago Chapter?
• Choosing, Pursuing and Achieving Certifications
• Creating a Great and Productive Website

We will also be holding our Annual Membership Meeting during which the Chapter Officer Election for 2008-9 will be held.

We hope that you will be able to attend the meeting!

Your meeting fee includes the cost of dinner, taxes and tips - there is nothing more to pay.

With a phone or e-mail reservation on or before Monday, April 7th:

• Members: FREE!
• Non-Members: $15*

 *Non-Members coming with a Member will be charged $10!  

Without reservation (at the door):

• Member and Non-Member Walk-In: $15

You will be asked for your credit card number to guarantee your reservation. Your credit card will not be charged (email and phone registrations only). You will pay for the event when you arrive. No-shows will be charged if there are not enough walk-ins to cover the restaurant costs.
